I need some duct tape!

So Gaugie boy no loner feels the need to sit or crawl ... unless it is over to something to help him stand up! He is going to have wheels before we know it ... and I am not sure I am ready for that! He is only 81/2 months old ... These are all the times I caught him ... just TODAY ... but of coarse he gets away with it when he gives me his sweet smile ... he is such a Joy!

When I got him from his nap

When I was helping the "big kids" with homework

and when I was loading the dishwasher

Can you tell that he knows he is the coolest ever when he is standing up like a "big boy"?

Mae Boutique

Because I surely don't have enough going on ... I am now part of a new boutique.

Mae Boutique

www.maeboutique.blogspot.com

Check it out!
(our logo is way cuter now but I couldn't get it to copy to this blog)

Where have we been?

Why I think it is easier to post on face book ... I don't know .... really I think it is the instant gratification (I don't have a prob with that :) of people commenting on your posts and the "blog world" just isn't that way so here we go ... AGAIN ... committing to keeping up the blog.

Gaugie boy is getting so big ... he is sitting up rolling over and able to get pretty much where ever he wants ... on the verge of crawling! At his 6 month appointment he weighed in at 18 lbs! He can no longer wear his 6 month clothes and has moved on to 9 & 12 month sizes ... 12 is still big but it works ... He is a super happy baby charming all the ladies with his smile that spreads across his entire face ... we are having so much fun with him .... and since he is technically still 6 months old we are having his 6 month pictures done tomorrow. I am very excited to see how they turn out!

3 months!

Gaugey boy is 3 months old!
I can hardly believe it.
He is deffinately spoiled .... rotten? well that depends on the day :)
He is in size 2 diapers (and has been for quite a while)
He has also been out of newborn and 0-3 clothes for a while as well.
He loves his big brother and big sister.
He definitely prefers to be held but does play on the floor as well as tummy time.
He is NOT sleeping through the night yet ( see above .. spoiled ..)
He loves baths (taking one in Aunt Jane's sink above)
He can roll over from tummy to back and thinks he is pretty cool when he does it.
and is really trying hard to go from back to front and gets about half way there.
He laughs and "talks" I LOVE when we have our conversations!
He loves to see what is going around and doesn't always want to be held like a "baby"
He has already been to Flagg, Taylor and The Ranch and actually did pretty well in the car.
He is a complete joy! Yes even at 2 a.m.
I can not remember what our family was with out him ... it seems as though I have known him forever!
We heart him!

RECYCLE

For those of us who are not fortunate enough to have recycling provided through our city or HOA we now have an affordable option.
Check their website to see if they cover your area.
They provide a can and pick up once a week for only $10 a month.
There is a $15 set up fee
with this code vp0509
you get 50% off the set up fee
Gunher is so EXCITED that we have signed up for recycling.
To be honest I am excited too.
Eric is excited that I wont be hauling around newspaper in the back of the prius any more. :)
It is a small price for the convenience to do our part.
Now if I can only remember to bring my reusable bags into the store!!!

Blessing Day!

Gauge was blessed on May 3rd, 2009
Here are a couple generation photos that were taken.
He is such a sweet boy!

Summer time!

I wish it was this easy for me to look cute in swim gear!
Gauge loves Papa's pool! Yesterday was his first day ever in a pool. I thought it might be a little chilly for him, but he loved it. I also thought that this little outfit would last through the summer ... as you can see I will be heading off to target soon to get the next size up!

Some Family Pictures

I am so happy with how these turned out. I was not really "feeling" getting pictures done being super prego, but I am so glad that I did! Thanks again Aimee!

Baby

No our Gauge is not here yet but on Friday (February 6th) I was able to have another ultrasound. (to monitor growth) I have never had an ultrasound this far along ... it was really cool. I think he is going to be quite a cutie if I don't say so myself. I hope his cheeks are as fat as they look in this picture. The ultrasound tech said that according to the measurements he weights 8lbs 2oz ... our little over achiever!
It is still not real to me that he could come at anytime ... even though I saw the ultrasound and could see that he could be ready ... definitely big enough (the doctor said especially around the belly)
Baby watch is on ... we will keep you posted!

Just Funny!

Ever feel this way?

I have to laugh and then agree .... what is with people when you are pregnant?
I have to say it doesn't bother me to have people (I know) touch my belly. But here is what any day out of the house brings me these days.
complete stranger: when are you due?
Me: March 1st
complete stranger: OH! are you sure
Me: smile and nod and walk away
Or
complete stranger: oh ready to pop any day
Me: no actually I have (fill in the blank) weeks left
complete stranger: Oh twins?
Me: no just one
complete stranger: WOW!
So with 3 1/2 weeks left until my due date
(most likely I will be induced right after valentines day)
You can see why a girl would want to become a hermit and never come out of her house .... especially because I get these comments from 5 months on. But I have a life .... so I wont ... so just deal with the BIG BELLY!

Yes I am one of THOSE people!

So a week or so ago I was "in town" as anything not in Queen Creek is considered in town, and just happened to be close to Pete's ... which I love so much .... I had to laugh at myself as I ordered.
A monster burger (1/3 lb meat) with cheese ... No onions
with
Onion Rings (but you just ordered no onions)
and
.......
an extra large diet pepsi (theirs is the best) ... because you know every calorie counts :)

I never got around to it ... so now I have documented me in my 8 months of glory! Ahhh ... and for those of you who so nicely tell me that I don't look prego from behind ... you are a lier and I have photo documentation to prove it! (not something Aimee can control) I am really glad we got them done and Aimee did such a good job! If you are due for pics definitely get a hold of this girl!

two sisters one heart

Here is a copy of an email I recieved from a friend...take a look.

Hello Friends and Family,

I am proud to be a part of an upcoming event to raise money for Emma and Taylor Bailey, a set of conjoined twins that mean a lot to me. Besides owning and running The Chattering Wall Vinyl Co. my second job is taking care of these beautiful little girls three days a week and I have become very attached to them. To learn more about them please go to www.twosistersoneheart.com My part in this event is the Silent Auction. I am overseeing the collection and execution of auctioning off items which all the proceeds will go to the Emma and Taylor Bailey Foundation. I am in need of items at this time and was wondering if any of you could help by donating items or services. Or if you have contacts in high places of big businesses that might be able to help with donating items, services or just cash donations, anything would be greatly appreciated. We also will be having vendor booths available to sell or promote your businesses. There will be TV spots promoting this event and we are hoping that it will be an event that no one will forget. If you would like to donate or participate in any way please email me at ginni@chatteringwall.com or call me at 480.734.3524. Also I have attached a sponsorship agreement in you would like to have a vendor booth and a corporate letter containing non-profit organization info for those businesses that would like to donate goods, services or cash. Also located at the end of this email is the flyer for the event. Please help make this event a success! And please forward this to everyone that you know! Thanks,Ginni ChristiansenThe Chattering Wall Vinyl Co.ginni@chatteringwall.comwww.chatteringwall.com 480.734.3524

I wasn't able to post the attatchments .... if you are interested email me and I will forward it to you!

Thanks

Christine

A little bit of Christmas

Eric took this picture (and others) So cute! We stole the idea from the Warren Family's Christmas Card where their family was all sitting on the bed. We still need to make our other pics black and white because you can see our beautiful teal comforter in it. (notice bottom left corner :)
